Biography
I always thought my dream was to be an Investment Banker, sipping my long black, biting my fingernail while looking at the charts tick. It seemed like a sensible dream considering my academic background in Finance. I started my career in a related field and eventually jumped on the Investment Banking bandwagon. I've been at it for 4 years, until I decided to leave it all behind to pursue my passion for coding.
These days, you'll find me perfecting my home barista skills at my coffee bar setup, because apparently, paying RM15 for a latte wasn't sustainable on a developer's budget. When I'm not obsessing over the perfect extraction time, I'm lifting weights with the belief that my biceps will help me carry my newborn daughter better.
My reading list is a mix of biographies, memoirs, history, psychology, and fiction. Essentially anything that helps me understand why humans do the wonderfully bizarre things they do.
Lately, I've been diving deep into home automation because nothing says "I'm a programmer" like spending three hours automating a task that takes thirty seconds. But my favorite moments? Those are reserved for coffee conversations with friends, where we talk about anything one espresso shot at a time.
